About Driven to Win
Driven To Win is a youth program for teens to learn life long skills and combat the bullying and suicide epidemic through the avenue of motorsports. The teens will build, assemble and race real race cars, all while establishing friendships in a positive environment.
Meet the Teams
Each Student is placed on a team. They battle for points during Shop Nights and race for points.
Our Process
Driven to Win is available for any 14-18 year old teens in the Lake Area. They will learn important life skills, and develop great friendships.
Street Cars
Thanks to Starnes Auto Body and Glass in Lebanon, we had the cars donated as street cars
Strip and Gut
The teens will strip and gut all the interior and unneeded things out of the car
Rebuild
Each team will learn roll cage fabrication, welding, engine rebuilding and much more
Race
IN 2025, the teens will have a chance to race the cars they have built
Our Story
Driven to Win was started in 2024 by Tim Day. Tim has a passion for racing and building race cars. In the past 6 years, he has built over 20 race cars and has over 35 wins. Building race cars is a great way to relax and put skills into practice.
Tim also has the privilege to pastor the Camdenton Bible Baptist Church in Camdenton, Missouri. He has pastored for nearly 6 years and enjoy reaching people with the Gospel.
It was these two passions that led to the creation of Driven To Win. Teens are often neglected in teaching life skills outside of the school. DTW is using racing to teach the importance of working with your hands and having pride in the things you build.
